THANKSGIVING DINNER - November 26, 2020

1100 S. McCall Road (SR 776)
Gulf Cove/Port Charlotte, FL 33981

Each year Gulf Cove UMC offers a Thanksgiving Dinner to our community. The dinner is free. Last year we served over 750 people in our community and more are expected this year. The sit-down dinner is offered from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM on Thanksgiving day. Takeout meals and some limited delivery to shut-ins are also available. This year Don Teague has again stepped up to oversee the dinner.

Volunteer opportunities abound for those wishing give of their time on this special day. Would you please signup? ... forms are located on the counter at the back of the sanctuary or call the office 941-697-1747. Volunteers will be needed to roast & carve turkey, cut vegetables, deliver meals to those who have requested them, setup and decorate tables, clean tables, make pies, clean pots, wash dishes and the very many other chores that are required to provide this outreach service to our community, to say nothing of getting the church set up again for worship services.
